Paneer is an ingredient from which many dishes are made and one of them is Spicy Paneer Tikka. You can also serve it as a snack or starter in a dinner party. An excellent option for a party. A popular vegetarian starter or appetizer recipe which is popular in India and also in South East Asian countries. Basically this recipe is in dry version which is served as a party starter. However, the gravy version of Paneer Masala Tikka is also extremely popular and is served with Roti. 
 
INGREDIENTS:
400 grams cheese
2 capsicum cut into cubes
2 onion petals
2 red capsicum cut into cubes
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 tbsp mustard oil
1 tsp kasoori methi
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 teaspoon celery
5 tbsp curd
2 tbsp tikka masala
2 tbsp roasted gram flour
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
Salt as per taste

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. First take a bowl and add thick curd, Kasuri methi and ginger-garlic paste in it.
Now add celery, Kashmiri red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, black salt, turmeric powder, garam masala.
 
2. Add 2 tbsp roasted gram flour, 2 tbsp hot mustard oil. Now mix everything well with the help of a spoon or whisk. Now add lemon juice to it and mix well.
 
3. Add petals of one onion, capsicum and mix well. Now add cheese pieces in it and coat it well. Now keep it in the fridge to marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
 
4. Pierce capsicum, onion and cheese. Now place a tawa or pan on the gas, add some butter and grease the pan. Take a light shake as soon as possible.
 
5. Now take a skewer and pierce capsicum, onion and cheese one by one and turn on the gas to make tikka. Now fry the Paneer Tikka on direct fire from all sides.
 
6. Now your Paneer Tikka is ready, and to give it a smoggy flavour, cover the Paneer Tikka plate with hot charcoal.
 
7. So that the charcoal smoke sets the paneer tikka properly.
 
8. Just make our restaurant style Paneer Tikka and serve it with your favorite coriander leaves chutney.
 
NOTES:
1. Firstly, for perfect restaurant style tikka taste, make sure to marinate for at least 30 minutes or extend overnight.
2. Also, adding a drop of red food color gives a bright red color.
3. Also, add vegetables of your choice like broccoli, baby corn, mushrooms or potatoes.
4. Finally, serve the paneer tikka immediately, otherwise it does not taste very good.
